Aaron Strahlke - Expedition Leader

Aaron was born in Berlin, Germany. His fascination about geology started in his childhood by collecting stones and pebbles. In his school time, he became keen to know what's below his feet and decided to study geology. Hence, he went to the Freie Universität Berlin where he got his BSc in Geological Sci-ences. Afterwards, he travelled to the beautiful city of Edinburgh in Scotland, achieving a MSc in Petro-leum Geoscience from the Heriot-Watt University in cooperation with the University of Edinburgh. Besides of having knowledge in all geoscience disciplines, his expertise is in Geophysics, Formation Evaluation, Geomechanics and Sedimentology.
