Ultimate Wildlife Expedition_THE FALKLAND ISLANDS
THE FALKLAND ISLANDS

This windswept archipelago is a birder's paradise. Zodiac excursions from Stanley reach remote colonies of the striated caracara, an intelligent raptor known as the "Johnny Rook." Some 80% of the world's black-browed albatrosses breed here alongside five penguin species: Magellanic, gentoo, macaroni, rockhopper, and king penguins at Volunteer Point.

Aboard the 114-guest Sea Spirit, explore Stanley's history alongside this rich ecosystem.

Ultimate Wildlife Expedition_SOUTH GEORGIA ISLAND
SOUTH GEORGIA ISLAND

South Georgia is the world's prime destination for subantarctic wildlife, where seabird colonies and marine mammals gather beneath snow-capped mountains. Around half the world's southern elephant seals breed here, alongside Antarctic fur seals and king penguins.

Visit the former whaling stations of Stromness and Leith Harbour, and at Grytviken, learn the island's whaling history and toast at Ernest Shackleton's grave. Salisbury Plain holds more than 60,000 breeding pairs of king penguins.
