About Northern Lights in Greenland
Before embarking on your new adventure, check out this fascinating info about Greenland!
Climate
During our cruise in the late Arctic summer (September), the temperatures will be around 3°C during the day.
Fauna
Protected from winds by their high altitude, you can find muskox, Arctic fox, mountain hares and lemmings in the Scoresby Sund area. An abundance of birds and fish can be found here as well.
Northern Lights
Iceland and Greenland are the hot spots for Aurora Borealis viewing. While winter (September to April) is the best time to see them, you can experience the northern lights up here year-round. Our cruise is perfectly timed for September (when prime viewing opportunities begin), while the temperatures are still comfortable to explore the beautiful nature of East Greenland and Iceland.
